Is there a limit on the number of characters that can be entered in a thread body/comment?

You can enter up to 65,535 characters in the following fields.
- Portal body (Announcement)
- App comments
- Space dashboard
- Thread body and comments
- Comments posted on People pages
- Messages
If you enter more than the maximum number of characters, a following error message is displayed.
Error message:
Enter between 0 and 65,535 characters. The maximum number of characters to be entered will be reduced if you enter text in rich text format.
